Reel In and Recycle

Reel In and Recycle

The BoatUS Foundation and BoatUS Angler Program coordinate and lead the "Reel In and Recycle" monofilament fishing line recycling program. With funding from the NOAA Marine Debris Program and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, they are building a nationwide network of monofilament recycling locations to make proper disposal of monofilament more accessible.

In one year, they collected enough monofilament fishing line to stretch across the US from coast to coast.
