Every other week (on Tuesdays) an e-newsletter is sent out via email to our partners as well as others who are interested. These newsletters highlight projects that NOAA has assisted in, led, or supported in some way, MDP partner projects, and upcoming funding opportunities. It also contains a listing of marine debris-related media hits from around the world.
INSTRUCTIONS
(Note: all of these commands are case sensitive)
To begin receiving the Marine Debris NEWS, subscribe yourself to the list by sending an email to requests@willamette.nos.noaa.gov with "subscribe mdpweekly" in the Subject line. Your name will be added to the list of subscribers. You will receive all posts and be allowed to post from that address.
To remove yourself from the list, send a message to requests@willamette.nos.noaa.gov with the subject "unsubscribe mdpweekly"
To get a list of detailed instructions, send a message to requests@willamette.nos.noaa.gov with the subject "info mdpweekly" (you are reading this document now)
DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS
The following commands are accepted:
Subscribe - To add yourself to the list, send a message to requests@willamette.nos.noaa.gov with subject "subscribe mdpweekly". Your name will be added to the list of subscribers. You will receive all posts and be allowed to post from that address.
Unsubscribe - To remove yourself from the list, send a message to requests@willamette.nos.noaa.gov with subject "unsubscribe mdpweekly". Your name will be removed from the list of subscribers. You will no longer receive any posts, and will not be allowed to post to that address.
Information - To retrieve a current copy of this Information file, send a message to requests@willamette.nos.noaa.gov with subject "info mdpweekly".

This listserver is for the distribution of the NOAA Marine Debris Program’s Marine Debris NEWS e-newsletter only. You may not send or post messages to this email or listserver. The moderator (Carey Morishige, NOAA Marine Debris Program) is the only one who can send messages to the entire list.
