Accessibility Statement
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is committed to providing access to all individuals – with or without disabilities – seeking electronic information on NOAA websites. We build our websites to conform to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (as amended), which requires that all individuals with disabilities (whether federal employees or members of the general public) have access to, and use of, information and data comparable to that provided to individuals without disabilities unless an undue burden would be imposed on us.
NOAA's commitment to accessibility extends beyond our digital assets.
The NOAA Policy Statement on Diversity and Inclusion and related documents outline activities including recruitment, education, and engagement for all employees. In addition, as prescribed by the Architectural Barriers Act, NOAA consistently works to provide an adaptable and accessible workplace for employees and visitors. NOAA Civil Rights Office maintains information on NOAA's Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) including information to file a discrimination complaint of any kind.
This website measures conformance against the WCAG 2.1 A and AA conformance standards. If you have feedback or concerns related to the accessibility of any content on this website, please contact us.
