    • Used for cell phone, GPS, and camera – only if applicable, but back-up power can save the day.

  • Sturdy Ruler
    • Used to check if items are greater than 2.5 centimeters, and use as a scale for photos.
  • Clipboard
    • Used as a writing surface. A cover, clips, or large rubber band can be helpful for holding datasheets down on windy days.
  • Pencils
    • Used to write on datasheets (pencils tend to work best in variable weather, pens generally do not work if writing on waterproof paper).
