Proceedings of the Great Lakes Land-Based Marine Debris Workshop

These are the Proceedings of the Great Lakes Land-Based Marine Debris Workshop, held in May 22-23, 2013 in Cleveland, OH. This document provides an overview of the workshop, which included a review of national marine debris issues and in the Great Lakes, with particular focus on land-based marine debris, background information on the Honolulu Strategy, an overview example of a marine debris action plan from the state of Hawaii (NOAA 2010), and a review of past meetings and our current step in the strategic and action plan development process.
